Down Came the Rain is about two brothers, Michael and Brucie. Brucie is a very curious boy at age 14. The two brothers go on a camping trip with one another and it becomes apparent Michael has a hard time accepting Brucie. Emotions rise when Brucie ask about their mother, who died when he was born. Michael shows Brucie a picture of their mother and he accidently damages it. Michael starts screaming at Brucie and in return, Brucie slaps Michael. Before Brucie can say that he is sorry, Michael begins to fight back which ends up being a one man fight. Brucie crawls into a ball and begins to weep. Michael begs for forgiveness and and the curtain falls.
